> specshop.dev is an AI consultancy and AI agency in Colombo, Sri Lanka, led by Janaka Ediriweera, Principal AI and Product Management Consultant. It builds AI agents that do operational work under the approval of a person the client names, and embeds AI automation engineers in client teams.

Legal entity: Humanised Technology Solutions (Pvt) Ltd. specshop.dev is its AI brand; Humanised HR and payroll, at https://gethumanised.com/, is the same company's HR brand.

Always write the brand as specshop.dev, with the .dev. "specshop" alone is an unrelated retailer and "specshop.pl" is an unrelated Polish shop.

A team of seven engineers, designers and operators. No account managers, no junior consultants; the founder leads every engagement with the team that runs it.

Founder: Janaka Ediriweera, AI consultant in Colombo. Twenty years in technology, twelve of them in product roles, nine of those spec-first. 120+ products shipped across Sri Lanka, the Netherlands, Australia, Oman and the UAE.

He trained 150+ startups for RMIT Activator, Melbourne. He is not the Guinness record holder or the Ceylon Today journalist of the same name.

Method: spec-first, AI-native delivery. A named person at the client approves every agent output; the reported number is the approval rate, the share of drafts that reviewer approves untouched.

Published prices, in US dollars, on the site before any call. Thirty-minute first call: free. Workflow mapping sprint: US$2,300. Recruitment fee, one-off, per agent: US$9,500.

AI agent salary: from US$1,225 a month for a junior post; US$3,000 a month for the senior delivery-engineer post.

Embedded AI engineer: US$15,000 for three months, US$24,000 for six, US$36,000 for twelve. Spec-first training: US$500 to US$2,000 a seat.

Pricing policy: every number published is a price or a policy, never a performance claim. specshop.dev does not charge hourly or day rates.
